The fifth strategic planning coaching session was delivered to the VSSC Strategic Planning Unit in Mansour on February 25, 2010. Sixteen members of the unit attended the session, where the following presentations were made:

1. Strategic disease control, poultry diseases, Foot and Mouth disease, Brucellosis, Bovine Tuberculosis, Rabies and Avain Flu.
2. A presentation on “Institutional Identity” was delivered by Mouyad Mustafa, USAID/Tatweer Graphics Advisor.

Since the VSSC established a Strategic Planning Unit, it has met in one session per month. The VSSC Strategic Planning Unit’s goal is to develop its own capacity to write a strategic plan and to develop a 10-year strategic plan by September 2010.
